Dr Darren Gray is a registered chiropractor with over 30 years of clinical experience across private practices in Australia and internationally. A native of the Mid-North Coast of NSW, Darren returned to his home region in 2000 and founded Coastline Chiropractic Centre in Port Macquarie — a specialist practice built on evidence-informed, neurologically-guided care.
With a deep interest in brain health, functional neurology, and neurological rehabilitation, Darren pursued advanced postgraduate training, completing a Postgraduate Clinical Neuroscience Certificate (2008) and a Master of Clinical Rehabilitation — Neurological (2016). This positions him as one of the region's most highly qualified practitioners for clients managing complex neurological conditions, balance disorders, and vestibular dysfunction.
Darren is a certified rehabilitation therapist and a Clinical Fellow of the Australasian Academy of Functional Neurology (AAFN). A sessional academic with the School of Allied Health, Exercise, and Sports Sciences at Charles Sturt University (2016–present), he contributes to the training of the next generation of allied health professionals. His former role as Medical Director of Ironman Australia (2006–2012) further reflects his standing in sports medicine.
Darren has presented locally and nationally on neurological rehabilitation and brain health, including at the National Education Summit 2026. Together with his wife Vanessa Gray, he has co-authored Gen AI: How to Future Proof Your Child, a deep dive into practical classroom strategies and the neuroscience of how your child's brain learns in the digital era.
